Step 1 — getting to know you

The process begins with you filling out our appointment request form.

Please be as detailed as possible, even if you feel you only have a vague idea of what you might want made. Include things you would like to see in your bespoke piece, whether it’s the materials, gemstones, or a certain style.

There is room in the form for you to leave links to style references, whether this is a link to your pinterest board, or a link to something from our website. We will get back to you with options to schedule an in person meeting at our showroom, or a remote call / chat via Whatsapp to discuss your requirements further.

This initial consultation is completely free of charge. The aim is to discuss initial ideas with you, explain what will be possible to do within your budget, and answer any questions at all you may have about the bespoke process before you can decide if you’d like for us to work together.

STEP 2 — SOURCING & DESIGN

After our initial consultation, should you decide to move forward to engage our services we will draft a DESIGN BRIEF which will detail the premise of the works to be carried out, including a projected total QUOTE. This total will not change so long as we stay within the agreed premise of design as outlined in the brief, so you can be sure there will be no unexpected extra charges along the way. A 50% deposit of the projected total will be required before any works can begin.

SOURCING

With any design it all starts with finding and committing to a centre stone, the focal point of any ring. We will work closely with you to source or custom cut the perfect stone fitting your requirements. You can come and see these options in person at our showroom or remotely. We have a comprehensive diamond database with live images and videos so you can browse discreetly and comfortably from your own home.

DESIGNING

Once your stones have been selected, we can begin designing around them. Using CAD technology we will create a series of 3D renders, showing the design to you from every angle. You will have unlimited opportunity to customise and tweak every element of the design until we have something you will be happy to approve for production.

Due to the organic nature of the design process, we cannot estimate how long this part of the process will take. We can tell you however that it takes 1-2 weeks to develop the renders, and a day or two each time you request a tweak to be made to the design. If you are indecisive and require lots of options shown to you, this will naturally lengthen the design process, and delay when production can begin. For best results, please allow us the time we need to do the design justice and do it well, without rushing.

step 3 — production & completion

Once a final design has been approved, we can begin the process of making your ring.

MADE ENTIRELY IN UK - ETHICALLY SOURCED GEMSTONES - RECYCLED GOLD & PLATINUM

Through a seamless mix of traditional and cutting edge processes, your ring will be made entirely in UK. We start with casting your ring into the ordered metal. After casting, the piece will be cleaned up, assembled and hand finished by our team of skilled jewellers in our Shoreditch studio. The stone setting, and any other specialist techniques required such as hand engraving is done in Hatton Garden, London’s jewellery quarter. To complete, all of our pieces are independently assayed and hallmarked by the London Assay Office.

The production process takes 6 working weeks to complete.

In peak seasons such as Christmas and the Spring / Summer months (wedding season) we will be busier than normal and so the process may be longer. We will always communicate to you in advance how long you need to expect.

Upon completion we will notify you and arrange either an appointment for collection from our Shoreditch showroom, or we can organise a courier service to deliver the ring to you anywhere in the world. Photos and videos of the completed ring will be taken for our records and to show you the finished piece so you know what to expect before receiving.

The final payment must be completed before the ring can be released for collection or delivery.

THINGS TO REMEMBER:

EXPECT A MINIMUM OF 2-3 MONTHS FOR THE ENTIRE PROCESS

WAIT UNTIL YOU HAVE THE RING, BEFORE MAKING PROPOSAL PLANS
